This is my 1991 extended cab Ford Ranger XLT. It has a 3.0L V-6 automatic with 3.45:1 gears. I bought the truck used in February of 2000 and the engine blew in March of 2000, so it has a brand new 3.0L. The first mod I did was a Gibson Performance Exhaust. The exhaust was extremely easy to install and gave noticeable torque and horsepower gains. The latest modification I made to the truck was a custom free-flowing intake with K&N filter, hopefully soon to be ram-air or at least a true cold-air intake. It has a Pioneer cassete receiver and 6-disc CD changer. I also have a 250-watt equalizer hooked up to 2-Clarion 5.25s up front and the stock speakers in the back, for what I've got this system actually sound good and you can feel the front speakers hit with the bass. I have a Midland CB and have plans to put in two subs and 6x9s later on with a pair of tweeters. I bought the 15" American Racing Rims for $200.00 in new condition and put 235/75/R15 Big O Apache's on them. I had originally planned on making this truck into a full on racing prerrunner, but plans have changed and I'm going to use an F-150 instead. This truck will stay the way it is until I get the F-150 done in the next 5 years, then when I can afford to get another daily driver, it's getting a 351 and going to be a street and strip truck.
